The 20th Annual South Carolina Bankruptcy Law Association seminar will be held at the Grove Park Inn in Asheville, North Carolina this year, May 7 - 9, 2010.  A special rate has been negotiated of $179.00, which is lower than usual for this beautiful hotel.  This  being the 20th anniversary, the seminar committee would like to honor the history of BANKLA and do some different and exciting things.  So make  plans to attend!  

Potential highlights of this years' seminar include a 3-Judge panel on Friday afternoon, a consumer and non-consumer "tract," roundtable discussions, a history of local bankruptcy practice featuring some of our most distinguished fellow bar members, new attorney sessions, a tentative paralegal session, and more.  We also hope to plan our 3rd annual Fresh Start 5K Walk/Run, so start training now!

Feedback from past attendees indicated that children's activities would be helpful to incorporate, and The Grove Park offers children's adventure camps in half or full day sessions, as well as a kid's night out (Friday and Saturday).  The Committee will provide more details as the date draws near.
